It’s been unseasonably hot and super windy. Finally had a cooler calm day and was able to get in a morning hunt. The birds were scattered but Demi hunts hard and we were able to flush up a couple. A while back silvers, Frank, wrote about hunting with these old classic shotguns any the feeling that went with it. Maybe because I’d read that and was paying more attention and being more appreciative this was as fun and enjoyable of a hunt as I’ve ever been on. Nothing better than Demi and the first hunt with a new to me fox.
