Hausmann’s Northeast SxS Classic

Post by Jeff S »

Ansley and Fentress Fox will be attending the Northeast SxS Classic Hausmann’s Hidden Hollow. Will you be there? For a special “theme”, I’m hoping that members will show off their favorite upland gun. To set the tone, I’ve pictured my 16 ga. 2nd generation A grade with 26” barrels. It weighs in at a diminutive 5 lbs. 14 oz. Hope to see you and your favorite “Queen of the Uplands” at the show. P.S. It’s entirely possible that Ansley was the original model for the “nose down” Fox.

Jeff, the Gray fox "Fentress" is nice but love that authentic hunting pose on the Red ("Ansley" as I read your post). Great theme for the table display. I'll see you Jeff two weeks from yesterday at our shooting warmup for HH with Daryl and Tom at Rock Mountain.

Members: if any of you want to drive out a day early - on Wednesday June 5 - you're welcome to join us for a 100 bird round of Super Sporting Clays at nearby Rock Mountain. Be at the Rock by 9:30 am, or if a bit later you can meet us on the course to do 50 birds or whatever. If I can get a head count (post here) for extra shooters I'll bring more pastries to go with our morning java in the lodge. frank

Directions are on the Rock's website: www.rockmountainclays.com

Jeff, I'll bring my 16 gauge Skeet and Upland along to add to the table display. Am I guessing these will be displayed where we had the Supers last year up next to Bo-whoop.

I was at the Northeast SxS all three days and had a great time despite being kind of out of touch with allergies and meds, worst ever this year. Sorry, only got one pic late today.

Work isn't done until the paperwork is complete! Friends shown here at the Whoops' control center and figuring the winners/purse payouts ...... L to R: Fred Very, Craig Larter, Daryl Corona, Craig Thompson, Mike Koneski

The Fox booth is always a great place to meet like minded people and handle really cool guns. Laribus (Henry) and his wife Melissa stopped by for a nice visit. Thanks for the chocolate treats Melissa.

ROMAC (Roger) brought his gorgeous 16 ga. custom Fox. Wow!!!

Bummed that I had to miss this year’s event. Looks like the Fox gun was well represented this year. Any sweet guns come out of the shadows this weekend?

We missed you Brett. So sorry to hear the loss of your brother.

I think there may have been one or two nice Fox's there. Let's hope for some pictures.
