Whenever I head east, I like to stop and admire Lake Chautauqua. What a beautiful lake!

Ha ha! I should have pitched the tails. It’s starting to smell a little gamey in my truck

Re: Road Trip to Hausmann’s
Those riping shrimp tails bring about not so found memories of my going on a preserve hunt years and years ago. Buddy and I had 12 Chukars put out and killed all 12 over a couple of nice pointing dogs. I got home and thought I had 6 in the game vest and only found 5. Figured I had counted wrong and my buddy had the other one instead. Anyway, guns cleaned and birds cleaned. 4 Runner sat outside in the hot sun for about 5 days (this was a late in the season preserve hunt). I think on the 6th day I went out to the 4Runner (Its basically my hunting rig) and opened the front door and OMG the smell knocked you over. One Chukar had apparently tumbled out of the vest and somewho slid under the front seat. Ended up removing the seat because the spoils of warfare had seeped into the carpet. Turned out fine at the end, but it was an eye and nose opener. Always was a bit more careful after that.

I didn’t win any money, but I did earn my flying pigeon “wings”. I predict that next year everyone will be wearing Greek fisherman hats

Oh, I thought that was a Greek shooters hat.
And shouldn't the pigeon be rising?
It looks good on you Jeff and it was great seeing you this year and all the other Fox guys.
Your grin says it all.
