Sterlingworth 20g Barrel Dent

Post by firemanstevec34 »

I recently picked up a first year Sterlingworth 20 gauge. The right barrel has a small dent on the underside. You can see it when looking down the bore along with some light pitting. My question is, can the dent and pitting be removed if not too bad? I will try to post some pics later of the dent and the bores. If so, I'm from Ohio, is there anybody fairly close that you guys would recommend do the work? Thank you. Steve

I'm thinking Matthew Begley can help you out. He's swamped, but that isn't a big job. He is in Ohio.

Went to the SASSS Spring Classic in Michigan a few weeks ago. Mr. Hosford was there and pulled the dent out of the barrel while I waited. Can't even tell there was ever a dent there
