Were there standard patterning loads at the Philadelphia factory in the 1920's? My 1922 12 ga A grade has a hang tag that says only Right barrel 256 and Left barrel 321. Chokes measure 6 points right and 40 points left. This might work for No. 8 chilled Tatham but seems too many pellets for No. 7. I couldn't find anything in McIntosh or via the search function here. Any thoughts or references would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Early hang-tags show a load of 3 drams of smokeless powder and 1 1/8-ounce of No. 8 chilled shot.
A bit later the tags show a popular trap load, 3 1/8 drams of smokeless powder pushing 1 1/4 ounce of No. 7 1/2 chilled shot.
By after The Great War the tags only showed pellet counts for a couple of years then went to Cyl, Mod, Full.

Only one A.H. Fox Gun Co. catalog I've ever seen shows loads, the big 1914 "A Fox Gets the Game" --

Dave. Makes more sense now. My tag is one of the early post-war ones with pellet count only.

An early A 12 with 30" barrels looking to be choked Mod and Full. By the way, the gun does not have ejectors as the card says.

Pellet count pretty close to your gun: 253 and 334 from a load of 1 1/8 ounce of #8's
