Last hunt of the year
Got out one more time with my son and mutt. Snow was deep and grouse were few and far between. Always cherish anytime I can get in the woods with my kids. Dog is coming along nicely but has added many grey hairs. My sons have enjoyed their Sterly 16’s and the CE I bought this year has walked many miles in Michigan and Canada. Was a great year. Happy New Year!

Nice picture and Happy New Year Mark. Was that picture taken in your usual spot?

Hi Jeff! You have a good memory! We have been seeing a lot of birds at that spot so took the opportunity to take a good picture. I have never seen the Manistee River freeze over before. Hope all is well..... Mark

Great picture!
I did the same thing, making the time and getting out with my son to end the year going after woodcock.
Great memories are made that way.
