Super Fox 20 ga. article
Our admin here, Craig, has a mighty fine piece of writing and research in the newest DGJ, Autumn 2021. Mine arrived today. It's the first time I can ever recall getting an issue before hearing others say theirs had arrived days or weeks earlier. But, there it was. I thumbed through the table of contents to see what awaited me, and was pleased to see a Fox article by Craig Larter. I sat down with it immediately, and was rewarded with a great read.
I'm not giving out any clues here, but guys, this gun is verrrry special. Thanks Craig, for a well researched and written article. Without writers like you and other members here who are so talented, and willing, we'd never get to "see" guns like these.

The editor didn't include any of my picture subtitles which tells half the story. Pissed me off big time! They did the same thing to the article about the pair of Parker C's. Cote never sends a authors proof before publication so ya never know what your going to get.

Re: Super Fox 20 ga. article
I wondered why there weren’t any narratives under the pictures. I had to look at the checkering on the half pistol grip to tell the guns apart. Too bad the descriptions were omitted. Re: Super Fox 20 ga. article
I got mine yesterday here in upstate NY.
Really unfortunate that Cote did not include the text that went along with Craig's great photo's.
Very nice job on a wonderful and rare Fox.

Re: Super Fox 20 ga. article
It was especially interesting to me because I passed on the opportunity to buy a 32" HE 20 about 12-15 years ago at a doublegun shoot and show-and-tell. I had read comments over the years that they were "clubs", and handled like a pig on a shovel, but I found that not to be the case at all. I was mesmerized with it, but knew the price was far out of my reach at the time. It was a beautiful gun in high, original condition. I don't have a record of the serial number, and cannot recall if I noted that when I originally posted, about seeing it, here. Bobby was there at that shoot that day, and likely remembers it as well.

I handled C-HE20, SN 202620 that Craig writes about in his DGJ article.
That is one sweet gun and the stock repair by Dan May is perfect.
One of a kind and it has a wonderful home and will, under the right circumstances, do its thing in the duck marsh.
