Michigan grouse hunt

Had a great weekend hunting with my middle son. We really got into the woodcock! Enjoyed watching my son with his new to him Fox Sterlingworth 16...

Wow Bruno! You did good to find that many woodcock. Nice shooting and nice guns.

Thanks everyone! My kids are getting older and busy with work and school so any chance to get out for a few days is cherished. We lucked out finding a few spots filled with grouse and woodcock. My son really enjoyed his Fox Sterlingworth and he is a pretty good shot with it. Good luck out In the woods/water this fall

great job nice pics and fine looking sws. did you walk these up without a dog.what a good hunt, all the best 44whiskey :wink:

44Wiskey, Thanks! I had to put my dog down this summer so we flushed these up the old fashioned way! My sons and I are excited to get a puppy I put a deposit on next spring. Sure is different hunting without a dog....
