It looks like someone upgraded their Sterlingworth with an engraved and polished receiver, restocked and upgraded the checking. It does not look factory to me, but it may have been a factory employee gun. I don't think it is a Turnbull job. :lol:

I think it's a Weatherby prototype. The missing forend will be easy to spot with its 45 degree tip of rosewood.

If I had bought the gun, I would have owned it for weeks before I even noticed that it didn't have a forend. I'm sure we'll see this one at the next Northeast shoot.

Two barrels and no forearm shown..... with "STFRLINGWORTH" on the receiver. Guess it may be worth it for the barrels, if they will fit a Fox.
