LC Smith Field 20g
Wanted to add another SxS. Didn't want a 12g AE that would overlap with what I have (I'm not a long range shooter and I like open chokes and adding another of the same would just be a waste and adding anything above M would be a waste at least for me). I almost bought a Fox SW 16g C/C but didn't want to deal with lack of available ammo. Thought hard about a few really good condition BE or CE 12g open choked guns but wanted something to shoot and and hunt with and not worry about ruining value. Then I found this LC Smith FG 20g with 26" barrels choked M/C in really good condition. Barrels have mirror bores. It shoots well. Really light. The case colors are vivid. The finish on the stock blistered with small bubbles that are tough to see unless looking up close but the wood is in good condition.

Nice! That gun hasn't spent any time out in the salt marsh! Enjoy.

Re: LC Smith Field 20g
I have. Living in a small temp apt in turners falls. The house in RI is about 85% ready to put on market. Last 3 weeks managed to paint complete exterior, paint and refinish wood floors in 3/4 rooms, refinished wood cabinets in kitchen and bathroom, and remove 3x3 10Cy dumpsters (my parents built and lives here almost 60yrs and my mother is a hoarder). It was brutal. The arguments. But progress was made.44whiskey wrote:good for you, looks nice.have you relocated yet.all the best 44whiskey
So far so good job wise after 1 week. Folks have welcomed me. The one who would have been a problem was fired by my boss last week.
Thanks for asking.

Thanks. 2 3/4". Shot it today. Got to get used to it. Shot nice though. Right on the targets but obviously there are holes in the pattern44whiskey wrote:you must be exhausted. hope worst is behind you. best of luck to you. 44whiskey p.s. what chamber length
