Dan and Ken departed ways a few years back. Dan was working gunsmithing part time for a few years, his day job was Assistant Police Chief Oswego NY. Dan just retired form police work and is now full time gunsmithing. Dan has done a few small crack repair jobs for me and I have been extremely satisfied. Dan is a craftsman and preservationist, he goes out of his way to preserve the original character of vintage guns.
