I just received my letter from John Callahan. He did state in his letter that this gun shipped with a straight grip, "changed at factory from half pistol grip to straight grip." He also commented that "It is unusual that Fox did not fit a long trigger guard as usually found on straight grip stocks." This letter is somewhat comforting because it adds a little credibility to my A grade. However, Silvers made an excellent point when he suggested that I verify the serial # on the stock. Next time it's disassembled, I will take pictures of the insides. As always, thanks for the advice, comments and support. Jeff
