Recommendation for a Stocker

Post by Vol423 »

I have a CE 12 that I want to restock for my left hand dimensions. The current wood is sound but sanded and not to my taste. I'd like to hear from people who have actually had work done by the stocker. I already have considered Craig Libhart but he is over a year behind already. I'd also like to get an idea of what it will cost.

I've had them do a refinish on a drilling and they did a nice job. Thanks for the reminder.

stocker needed

Post by lee r moege »

I have bought several stocks from Donnie and have known him almost since the Fajen days. The last name is spelled Gemmes and is pronounced "Jimmes". He has some good wood and his inletting is great as mentioned. If you can get him to do it time wise their work is top notch. I have been stocking mostly rifles for 50 years now and you won't go wrong there. Lee.
