It is a Fox-Sterlingworth Ejector that has aftermarket wood. A Fox-Sterlingworth Ejector Deluxe would have had Lyman twin ivory sights and a Jostam Anti-Flinch recoil pad and in that the original wood is gone, no way of telling if it started life being called a Deluxe or not other than an expensive letter from Cody.

It looks like it has an Ithaca Ray-Bar front site and double beads approximately where a mid-bead should have been.
If there is no evidence of an extra hole centered in the rib that has been filled in, then it is probably did not start life as a Deluxe.

Ken, always interesting on these old guns. As they say, if they could only talk!!! No way of knowing how it started life unless you order a letter from Cody. In its current configuration you’ve got a great shooting 16 gauge to enjoy!! Post pics of it in use! Thanx

If guns could talk that one would have a story. Agree with the comments of others. 16 gauge Ejector Sterly with mods. Maybe shot slugs or buckshot out of it and wanted more traditional rifle type sights.
