2025 NORTHERN SxS REGISTRATION
Now that the registration is ready for the latest iteration of Rock Mountain's shoot, it can be found on our Rock Mountain website www.rockmountainclays.com or on our FB page. I'm having issues converting files to images to post them, so that is the work-around.
Note there are a few changes. The 32g Combined event has been eliminated. We also changed the 8g "Field Frenzy" event to 50 birds. More BIG BOOMERS to let fly! We also changed the Pro-Am due to lack of Am's sticking around to shoot-off. It is now the "King of the Hill". Top 10 scores in the events from Thursday through Saturday at noon will be paired up and shoot off on the same format we did last year. If you didn't see the 2024 shoot-off, stick around because it is a hoot!!
The "Friday Night Feed" will be something special again. This year we are adding a lot of quail to the menu. With enough Hawaiian shirts present it'll look like a luau!!

Re: 2025 NORTHERN SxS REGISTRATION
The Northern SXS is one of the highlights of the year. I encourage anyone in reasonable driving distance and with an interest in vintage double-guns to come, not only to shoot but to rub elbows and make collecting, shooting and hunting contacts with like minded gents. Also a good place to show off accouterments and vintage guns for legal trade or sale. Me, for the past two years I came away with three nice vintage guns I never would have had an opportunity at. frank

I saw and bought one of Frank’s guns 2 years ago. Thought I would I would buy a SW, ended up with a 101 SBT instead.
Missed the rock shoot last year but had a great time the year before. Will be there this year.

Hello Randy, 620 miles, that's a long way. Now I know you are a one of the top directors of the Parker Gun Collectors Association. With that being said it is my understandingRandy G Roberts wrote: ↑Tue Jul 08, 2025 8:44 am I must be losing it Frank as apparently I have deemed 620 miles to be a "reasonable driving distance". that ''ALL'' your expenses are ''PAID'' by the Parker Association Members, some thing you failed to mention. Now is that true or just a miss under standing ?

Re: 2025 NORTHERN SxS REGISTRATION
Harry that is about as far from the truth as can be. The PGCA does not pay one penny for myself or any other member or Director to attend these events. We do have a staff appreciation dinner in conjunction with the annual meeting for the folks that volunteer their time in support of the PGCA. I would venture that all the BOD members lose money while serving the membership, but then again that's not why we do it.harry gietler wrote: ↑Wed Jul 09, 2025 9:31 amHello Randy, 620 miles, that's a long way. Re: 2025 NORTHERN SxS REGISTRATION
Harry, I'm not privy to the PGCA hoi-polli but as I am on the BOD of the Fox association I am paid handsomely to show up at these events and shoot a Fox gun and wear a Fox hat to promote this fine organization. You should run for a position on the board. Why do you think Randy only shoots Parkers? Just saying.
Owning a Fox is not a spectator sport.
