Will their be a BoWhoop Shoot held at ''Rock Mountain'' ?

Nope. But there will be plenty of exciting, challenging events to test your skills Harry.

I don't know about that, somebody said targets at the rock are ''C'', Meaning cupcake targets.

Then bring your best shooting Fox and give those "cupcakes" your best shot Harry. You've obviously never shot at the Rock or you're a closet Master Class shooter. Either way it will be fun seeing you try
.
Owning a Fox is not a spectator sport.

The Northern SxS event is upcoming at Rock Mountain at the end of July and I invite you Harry to come and shoot a few events to check out the targets and show us how to smoke 'em. Not that far of a drive from western NY. I'll even give you a ride to shoot on my cart. The "C" bird at Daryl's AFHCA events at Hausmann's was one of three (A-B-C) and it was the easiest and a "cupcake" in the parlance of sporting clays shooters but I don't believe it was indicated as C for that reason. Mountain Mike at the Rock is well known as a master at setting targets that look easy but test the skill of shooters. Incidentally the regular shooters at Rock often refer to particular birds or presentations as "C" indicating something much different.

Harry, why don't you come to shoot and find out for yourself?
I’m looking forward to seeing your name on the score boards for several events. In particular I've heard you talk about your Ithaca Knick SBT guns and let's see what you and one of them do at the Northern Diesel Smoke event. Also your two-barrel Fox I've seen on your table at Hausmann's would be good for you to show in action at other events. :) frank

Harry, a good number of the presentations at The Rock in 2021 and 2022 were left over from the PA State NSCA shoot which Mike hosted. Far from Cupcakes so I would suggest the "C" would be for challenging. Mike always throws targets that are killable if you can keep your head screwed on. Great presentations for the type of shoot it is IMO. Bring your shootin irons and come on out.

Thanks to Daryl, Frank, and Randy for ''Straightening'' Me out about the targets. I taught they were C targets,
so I was going to head down to rock mountain and bust a few, But since I am a bad shot and could only hit C grade targets, ''Maybe'' if I was Lucky.
I will now think about reconsidering and just might stay home, save a lot of expense money and shooting costs at the Rock, and ware and tear on my truck.
O, and by the way Randy, My Head is just fine, doesn't need any screws or need to be screwed on.

Sadly I’ll be in Ireland and will miss the Northern SxS again. I always enjoyed shooting Rock Mountain it has a nice mix of presentations in addition the trampoline birds and of course those high birds coming off the mountain that make it all so easy to ride them too long.

I'm sure we have a few members who could handle the athleticism required to succeed if that target presentation required any semblance of elevation off a trampoline. However if that was indeed the case off the top of my head I'm thinking Shane Hoover would be the betting favorite. For the rest of us as I recall, the clays are thrown in a downward angle as to skip off a trampoline and go their merry way. It is rather interesting and certainly unusual.

Most fun target presentation on the course and drove me absolutely CRAZY!! Broke one of every simo pair but never could get to the second target in time or in the sight picture I wanted. Reminded me of skipping stones off a millpond with the second one cutting on an afterburner! After regular scoring I stayed at the station and requested 5 more pair; same result, smoked one and watched the second go "over the mountain". Need some payback - MORE TRAMPOLINE!!! Kevin
