Tom, choose the one about to jump in the frying pan, not the one sleeping in the corner!
Goodbye Mandy, once in a life time hunting dog. I miss you every day.

Re: Red Setter Pup inbound
congratulations Tom I've seen a couple of Red setters work at our Navhda club and really liked them. The dogs I saw all had a white patch on their chest.

Can't tell from the Photos, but Annie also has a white patch on her chest. Expect it will get bigger as she gets bigger. She had her first exposure to a Frozen Woodcock that I threw in the yard. Thought she was going to loose her mind. Its fun watching a young pup.simcgunner wrote: ↑Sat Feb 25, 2023 8:57 am congratulations Tom I've seen a couple of Red setters work at our Navhda club and really liked them. Spend 4 days at the trainer while I was at the Southern. The Force may be strong with this one. She goes back for a week while I'm at the NE SXS and then for a full 5 weeks during the summer.

Trainer sent this pic also. Had her on the ramp and was throwing Pigeons around her and making sure she didn't chase. Trainer said it took a while, but she figured out she wasn't supposed to move. No e-collar use around birds for pups.
