Super Fox Straight Grip 32" 3"
As many know I have been looking for a straight grip Super for years. A few years back member vaturkey walked into the Fox booth with a very nice honest HE 32" straight grip. After drooling all over the gun for 3 days I told Tom if he decided to sell the SF I would appreciate a shot at buying it. Years past but I never forgot about the gun, every so often I would message Tom and tell him I still had interest. Fox only made 65 straight grip Supers in 12ga and only 39 were 32'. Over the years a few have come to market but all had issues. Just before Hausmann's Tom contacted me and said he decided to move the HE straight grip, was I still interested. Dam right I was still interested! Tom being a small bore guy wanted to know if I had anything he may be interested in as a part trade. I told him I had a nice 20ga 30" Sterlingworth I would consider trading (I hated to part with the Sterly). So at Hausmann's the Straight grip came to me, the 30" 2oga Sterly to Tom. The stock had been cleaned of finish at some point, so I added a little Timberlux to the stock, but that's it. Craig

Congratulations to the both of you for a well struck deal! Nothing quite like finally reaching those elusive goals no matter what they may be. Happy hunting this season and be sure to post up some wonderful pictures with ducks in along side!

Good deal Craig and Tom. I looked over the Super when Tom first brought it to Hausmann’s, confirmed the unmolested 3 IN. chambers with my S-F gauges, and drooled all over it. A Great Super! Congrats!
Just an aside; that 20g/30” Sterly may be the one I was watching on LS&B and decided not to bid when I saw and recognized Craig’s user name. Just think, maybe Tom would have done a deal with me on the Super.
A small world! frank

Nice looking gun. I can’t wait to see pictures of Nellie and a limit of mallards.

Wow!! Nine pounds ten ounces!! Very few heavier than that, despite Nash calling these his "ten-pound Becker Magnums" --
though 31088 cards at nine pounds nine ounces and 33050 cards at eight pound twelve ounces. Nash never let exact facts get in the way of a good story,
