Auction Guyette & Deeter in Feb

Post by Woodcocker »

I got a gorgeous catalogue today in the mail from Guyette & Deeter of a Feb auction of fine guns, Parkers, Foxes, Win 21, Smiths &c. There were quite a few Foxes including a CE 20 g. with an original skeleton butt. 8-12k estimated, which is not bad. Also an FE and a three barrel (Utica) set of 16 and 28 gauge and lots of Sterlingworths and SBTs. Some real eye candy there. Might interest some members here. Best regards for the new year.

Take those estimates with a grain of salt. They are very conservative in my opinion. But, yes some very nice offerings.

That Ithaca No 4 NID Magnum 10 bore looks very interesting. 34” tubes and straight grip longish stock. Only 12 pounds! Not a 'spray and pray" gun and ready for the tall ones cruising by in the clouds. :D
