The DE is 1901 according to the Lefever Collectors Assoc. table. To my eye it appears the gun was made in sequence. It does have a killer stock, gold triggers and gold cocking indicators which were standard on the D from this period. The forend tip and forend escutcheon are gold plated which I believe was a special request. No two Lefevers are alike LOL!!! I guess that's what intrigues me about them and boy do they handle nicely.
