Ejector and SST Value
Ejector and SST Value
I've been asked to sell a 1914 Fox AE 16ga for the son of a late friend Can anyone tell me how much (% wise) a single selective trigger and ejectors would add to the value? Thanks.
Re: Ejector and SST Value
If it's a shooter grade, options will make less difference in the end. But a hi original condition collector grade with these options will make it much more desirable and valuable. Condition is most important in dollars. Get some good pictures and description, note any flaws and post it here. Ask for market value opinions, ask them to be answered by PM only. After you feel comfortable with an asking price, place it in the for sales section. I think this is O.K. with the rules. SXS Ohio

Thanks. I'm having a gunsmith go over it now and will post pictures when I get it back. It is original except for a restock which I'm sure will reduce it's value but David Trevallion made it and the work and wood is far better than the original. Hopefully that will regain some of the lost value.

Re: Ejector and SST Value
If David T restocked it and that's documented it won't hurt the value at all unless the gun was mint to start with. He did some work for me on a CH Parker years ago and it was amazing.roccus wrote: ↑Fri Dec 02, 2022 1:03 pm Thanks. I'm having a gunsmith go over it now and will post pictures when I get it back. Re: Ejector and SST Value
Roccus,
Is the SST original and so noted on the order card? Depending on the dimensions of the stock and if it can be validated to have done by DT then that would be a plus for a working/shooting gun. A lot of variables. A better description and pics will definitely help. Keep us posted. Brett
