New to Me HE
I just got back my HE from the gunsmith.
The gun was in very rough shape when I got it. The butt stock and forend were cracked in multiple places. The wood was heavily oil soaked as well. OD on the barrels were rough. The ID is bright and shiny.
Specs are as follows, capped pistol grip, 32 inch barrels, choked R - 0.050 L - 0.050, 9.7 lbs. Not marked 3" chambers but they measure 2 7/8.
She cleaned up nicely.
No doubt the old girl knocked down quite a few ducks in her day.

The gun is all original except for the recoil pad. It had a Jostam Anti Flinch on it that was pretty much destroyed.

That is just a wonderful HE. Congratulations on how it turned out. I hope you get to use it enough to put a few handling marks and light blemishes on her.
If you get to enjoy her as much as I have mine you will be a fortunate man.

Steve, please look me up while at the Northeast SxS. I always enjoy looking at Supers. If you see the white colored/lifted Club Car golf cart I'll be nearby. frank
