Re: Vintagers
Jeff,
Thanks for posting the pictures, good times they were. I know it takes time to post the pictures and I’m glad that you take the time Jeff.
Enjoyed shooting with you Dennis, the pleasure was ours. We also enjoyed our time shooting with you and other members.
Thanks to Kevin and Steve for setting up the Fox booth and displaying some very nice Fox guns.

Re: Vintagers
We had a great group of guys go out on Sat and shoot the smallbore course for fun and fun we did have. The photo of the guns on the rack are just a sample of the nice guns we got to shoot and handle during the event. Shooting for fun, not for score, was a good way to end the weekend. Thanks Jeff and Mike for the photos and once again thanks to all the Fox shooters who participated in the Fox/Parker selection process. I want to double that number next year.

Re: Vintagers
For those wondering about the 20ga Sterly with 32” barrels, I was fortunate to be the one to spot her first! As it was purchased from a dealer, I’ll have to wait for it to be shipped to my local FFL, but I was able to take it out and shoot it this weekend while I was there. I’ve got a few cellphone pictures I snapped that I can share. Weighs in at 7lbs even, with great shooting dimensions including a 14 3/4 in LOP to a Hawkins pad. Has original 2 1/2 inch chambers, is choked .37 and .41 and with #2 weight barrels has a minimum wall thickness of .38. On top of that, it’s an Ejector gun! Another dream gun for me, and I can’t wait to get her home to NC! She will affectionately be known as “Severance”.

Mike the 32" 20ga Sterly could not have found a better home!! Congratulations. You, Daryl and Mark K should get together at the Southern and shoot a round with your 20ga 32" Sterlys, that would be cool.

I'm in and I'm sure Mike and Mark would follow suit. We could also do a repeat performance at Ernie's in June.fox-admin wrote:Mike the 32" 20ga Sterly could not have found a better home!! Re: Vintagers
Thanks to Jeff for the photos, to Kevin and Steve for the well executed display and to all A.H.Foxers for making this a special event for my wife and me. This was our first Vintagers event and we will be returning in the future, especially for more shooting like our Saturday fun on the smallbore course. What a great group! This was also the first time I've been present for the Fox-Parker challenge, that's another event that I'll be prioritizing on my schedule in the future. Special citation to Shane Hoover who scored a 68 in the main event placing him at 3rd overall at the time I left. Stan, you must be exceedingly proud of such a fine young gentleman. Hope to see you all soon! RB
