Good looking crew there for sure. Was hoping to make it but I had a doc visit yesterday afternoon and a clogged drain pipe on the AC that is creating some discomfort. Lord willing I'll be there next year.

PS. I'm hearing rumint that a 32" 20 gauge Sterly was picked up by one of our members and has made an appearance. Sounds amazingly sweet.

Wish I were there too, living only 3.5 hours away it would have been a lay up for me but my wife had some minor surgery and I'm playing nursemaid.

Thanks for the pictures, Jeff. Question: How did you get your picture in with the main picture?

Jeff, thanks for the great pictures. I really miss being there, but in the middle of renovations and my kitchen is gutted. Also, just had a double dental implant in my lower right jaw, so shooting would have been out of the question for me. Anyway, keep the picture coming and congrats to the Fox team for a good showing against the Parker boys, you will get them next year.

Big shout out to Kevin and Steve for manning the Fox booth. Kevin had many high condition examples from his extensive Fox collection. Steve had a couple of choice pieces from his collection. There were a ton of great Foxes for sale. Robin Hollow had some fresh to the market guns at good prices. My friend Larry bought a very nice 12ga 30" late B, it is two numbers away from a B I have owned for years and was shipped to Tyron the same day on the same order. Poulin had a great display of guns coming up in the November sale, a CE 12ga with 30" barrels and 3" chambers plus a very solid looking 12ga XE. Poulin also had a DH Parker 8ga 34" Titanic estimated at 40K to 60K :( I came home with no new treasurers but our group of 5 bought 3 guns so it seemed to me sales were pretty brisk.
It was great getting out and seeing old friends. Hausmann's does such a great job with events, the 12ga course was awesome and challenging! The upland 5 stand was difficult, all true pairs. The Long Bird was impossible, I shot it 3 times and never hit a bird. Two friends hit one each and they may have had the high scores.

Great time with great friends.

Agreed, the Long Bird Shoot was a real Hail Mary.

Hit one each by two guys. Daryl was sure he could bust one or two with his 20 gauge, 32 inch Sterlingworth but never got the chance to try.

Maybe Ernie will set it up again in June of 2022!

Made it home, guns have been oiled and are back in their slots in the safe. Kudos to the entire BOD, both past and present, for making this a truly great organizations. For the members that attended, it was great seeing you. For those that didn’t attend, please consider attending next time. You’ll be glad that you did. One last comment. I am amazed at the skill level of some of our members. Shooting 24 out 25 with a gun that you’ve never shot before! Outstanding! Saturday afternoon I witnessed absolutely impossible “true pairs” being broken consistently. Mighty fine shooting.

This was my first visit to the vintagers and I really enjoyed it.
Stan thank you for letting me shoot the 20 ga and 16 ga course with you and your son. He is quite the shot and picks those targets up quick!
The 20 bird Simo pair set on the 5 stand had some “salty” pairs on it. I think I need to practice a bit before next year!
Bill it was good to meet you as well and thanks for sharing your Fox knowledge with me.
