Found one
I didn't really find it, it found me. A friend of mine gave me a Fox-Sterlingworth this spring, ser# 129781. It is in good shape considering it was stored in a damp basement for years. Some surface rust on the barrels & action but great bores. About 50 percent case colors with most of the blueing still on the barrels. 12 gauge, 28", probably full & modified. The stock has been redone in tung oil, no cracks or dings. The checkering on the forearm looks like it was carried some but is intact. Probably not a collector grade but she shoots good.

Re: Found one
I returned from Vietnam in the summer of 67 & was stationed at Ft. Sill, Ok. Great bird hunting in the area then & I was able to buy an L C Smith ($40) not great condition but a great shooter. Now I am lucky enough to have another great bird gun in even better overall condition. Believe me it is going to be used.

Re: Found one
Really enjoyed my week at Ft. Sill for the "Gentleman's" Artillery course. As soon as we were done for the day it was out to the Wichita Mountains NWR for critter viewing. The Prairie Dogs did make me wish for my Sako .222!!
