Most of you are familiar with this event but some have hesitated to participate because they don't have a "Bo Whoop" configured gun. I betting that many of you have a upland gun that you shoot well but it doesn't have tight chokes so hopefully you will be shooting those guns on the course.
New for 2021 we will be introducing the "Baby Whoop" field gun competition open to all makers guns (we really prefer Ansley's creations
). These are not typically waterfowl configured guns but you get the idea. This will be a chance to shoot those smallbores and short barrel, open choked smoothbores of all gauges at distances that are appropriate for open chokes. This will shot under field rules: no premount, delayed pulls of 1-3 seconds and you will not know which trap it is coming from. Perfect for those upland guns. Details on scoring and prizes will be presented at the event.NOW FOR THE IMPORTANT STUFF!! WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP WITH TRAPPING/SCORING THIS AHFCA EVENT. THIS IS OUR SIGNATURE EVENT AND IS OUR MAJOR MONEY MAKER. IF YOU COULD GIVE ANY AMOUNT OF TIME OUT OF YOUR DAY TO HELP IT WOULD BE WONDERFUL.
