Geez and I didn't even know they were making new ones. That baby can't be old

Seriously that is very nice Craig.

She has some hunting "beauty marks" that's for sure that don't show up in the photographs, but it's a sure keeper.

Very nice gun. I hope you get to try it on some "tall ones" this fall.

Bring her out, Craig, and we'll start practicing for Bo-Whoop '09 !

Can you share her vital statistics?

Mike:
32" bbls, 2 5/8" chambers, .744\.744 bores .050/.053 chokes, 9lbs 5oz 14 1/4" LOP. I did shoot well at the Vintagers, impressive on the long targets. It has very nice triggers they break very clean. We have recorded the specs on 50+ supers and this gun is second heaviest and the tightest choked (.053). You can bet it will be at the Bo-Whoop.

Craig she sure was a nice find. Remember how my eyes started rolling when you showed her to me at the table? Toolman was on the cell right before that because word had passed to CT by then. Maybe we can do a patterning sheet setup at the '09 Bo-Whoop Trophy shoot and get a "standard" cartridge for anyone interested in patterning their Super with same to see what it does at the regular 30"/40 yards. Would be nice to compile those stats too.

For those looking at the 2009 Northeast Classic SxS shoot, and our concurrent Bo-Whoop Trophy Championship... I talked with Ernie Hausmann while at the Vintage Cup. The shoot will be the first Friday thru Sunday of June, not the last weekend of May as in the past.

SHOULD BE THE LARGEST GATHERING OF SUPER FOXES AT ONE TIME AND PLACE EVER! Frank

Craig,

You got a dandy.

And I'm guessing you'll "dust some drake mallard feathers" with the old girl.

I have some ideas for a patterning competition for tight bored Foxes, HE Grades included, that could be a sub event at the Northeast shoot. The entry fee could be very low, the judging very easy, and shooter skill would be part of the competition. Reentries would be allowed and encouraged. Wouldn't it be a hoot if a short barrel Sterlingworth won the event?

Craig, the new gun is about the best I've seen. My new HE acquisition looked good to me until it was displayed next to yours. They did make a great pair on the Fox Collectors display. Be sure to post the provenance when you get your letter.

Bill: Thanks for the kind words but your new gun is just as nice. They did make a nice pair on our display. Thank you very much for bringing it in for everyone to handle and measure. Next years Bo-Whoop should be an incredible display of big iron.

Hey Craig.... or is it Marty R.? I like that term "Big Iron". We'll have to use it when calling for HE's and for the Bo-Whoop Competition. Frank
