I got my Issue 2 or the A.H.Fox Collectors newsletter Saturday. Great job. Wonderful coverage of the Bo Whoop Shoot, more Fox history by Dave Noreen. My favorite was the article and pictures of B Grade variations. I was not aware that there were early B Grades without game scenes. I wonder how scarce they are? Now I'll be waiting impatiently for my Winter Issue. Murphy

Thanks Bill for the positive feedback on the Newsletter. I estimate less than 100 scroll engraved early B grade guns. It is the rarest of the 12 ga graded guns X grade and below in my opinion. Dave Noreen may have a more accurate estimate.

I made up for it by buying the Philadelphia Arms Company B Grade at Easton that we both agreed was overpriced. I snuck back to the seller in the dark of night and paid his price after we had the discussion. Speaking of B Grades, is it strange that Ansley went from a game scene engraved B Grade Philadelphia Arms gun to a scroll engraved A.H.Fox gun and almost immediately back to the game scenes?

I've always wondered why B-Grade Philadelphia Arms Co. guns have checkered stock cheeks and C-, D-, and E-Grades don't?
