Thanks Jim. We were distressed when we found out about the hearing issue, but, at least we had another option and we could find a home for Dixie.

Yes, they can still hunt with some hearing loss. However, the vet at LSU said not to breed her, so.....we found another home for her and the breeder found us another pup we can hunt AND breed. Maybe some Fox Hollow Setters in the future??

Mike, your new dog is really photogenic! Beautiful dog. You should have some beautiful pups when you breed her.

Mike, she's a beautiful pup! Had a setter with her color growing up named Rusty. Can't wait to see her in person in August. How big will she be?

Thanks for the compliments guys! Mike, she will most likely be in the 40-50 lb range, so much smaller than what we are used to. Bill, we will probably be breeding her in 2019. Good thing is she is 6 months old now (August 31 B-Day) so she will be hunting this Fall!!
