Tang question

I have a 12 ga sterlingworth 30” full/full with 3” dah im goal is to restock to dimensions that i shoot better. Is it better to have the tangs bent to accommodate this new stock. thanks i seem to need 11/2 dac an 2 1/4 dah

Usually you can get away with adjusting the dimensions and not needing to bend the tangs. Maybe just tweeking the top one a little bit. This is something that the stock maker can do as needed.
