Dana's Catalogs

Post by Researcher »

I don't see any "The Finest Gun in the World" catalogs listed in Dana's catalog collection --

For folks interested in Fox printed literature, you really should look at the reference by Researcher.
Do this because you will see three of the truly rare pieces of paper: " How To Sell A Gun", The small
bore brochure, and the Philadelphia Arms catalog. You may never see these for sale again !

There are a number of the "Finest Gun in the World" catalogs in the collection. Julia's will update the photos - I requested more photos earlier today.

If the collection of catalogs go for the estimate that is a handsome price! But like Dave said may never see them again. Could buy a nice Fox gun for that money!

They've added a couple more pictures, but they are of the large "A Fox Gets the Game" catalogs and all the "Campfire" catalogs, which I have to admit do say "The Finest Gun in the World" on the covers.

David- I'm working with the admins at Julia's to get the right photos online. They are very sweet and hardworking but dont know Fox material. Worst case scenario is that I will pull the proper catalogs for photography when I get there next Thursday. I'll PM you to get you set up for phone or absentee bidding.
