The only difference instead of sending us a Xerox of the card he/she are sending us letter on their letterhead containing the same exact info? PS. I'm trying to decide if its worth getting a letter on my Super and I'm thinking its basically wasting my money.

the only thing I gained with the letter I just received on my Super was pellet counts from patterning that was on the back of the card
"If there is a heaven it must have thinning aspen gold, and flighting woodcock, and a bird dog" GBE
Even knowing how it patterned back then, with what ?? unknown ammo, means nothing to me. How it patterns today, with my choice of shotshell, is what matters to me. I would call it a waste of money.
I say get them while you can and get the copy of Bill Harris's records from AHFCA. You never know when some bean counter will stop the program. If you or your heirs want to sell the gun the Savage letter will have added value as will a actual copy of the production record from AHFCA.
I think it would be great if the AHFCA could partner with Savage to have access to the total records and produce the letters at a cost that would generate revenue for the organization and be a quality product. Of course that would require a staff to do the leg work and might be problematic in terms of cost at this point.
