Do the barrels ring better than the Liberty Bell? ;)

Yes, the Barrels do ring better than the L-Bell.
BTW, this project piece started out with no wood, and the barrels were chopped a bit, but still have choke left.
It's about Mod and IC . Had no case colors, and barrels had about only 40% blue.
It was also loose as a goose. Soooooo, zero collector value. Also got it at a low cost.
So I said, what the hell, lets see if I can make something nice out of it.
Some new wood, with modern stock dimensions, cold rust blued barrels, tightened it up
Back on face, and finished off with Engraving. It's a shooter with good looks, and a good shooter.
A fun gun to shoot !

The scrolls are good, and it's a good start, but it seems unfinished somehow. What I mean is, I think it needs some "filling in", as far as the engraving goes. It really looks nice, but I believe further work could yield something that looks very, very nice.

Thanks for posting pics of your work. I'm impressed with what you can make a machine do.

SRH,
You are 100% correct in that it is missing something.
You have a good eye !, SRH...
It is missing what is called shading, those fine cross hatching lines in engravings that give it a 3D appearance.
I still have the CAD model, and can add that to the CNC program
Just didn't get to it yet. BTW, I figured that out
later and, like you, said to myself, something is missing.
Maybe get to it next winter. I'm in shooting mode now,
Skeet in particular, so it'll be on the back burner for now.
Thank you very much SRH, for the kudos.
I appreciate that.
BTW, I've been calling it the LIBERTY GRADE, because of the
Liberty bell, I found it fitting because the gun was made in Philly
and the Liberty Bell also still resides there.

Be sure and let us see how it looks after the shading is added in.

All my best, SRH
