Stock repair by Mark Larson

Post by Fin2Feather »

The little A Grade 20ga I acquired last fall had some stock issues. I sent it to Mark; he was quoting 2 month turn around which is pretty remarkable in itself. Got it back yesterday; here are some quick cell phone pics before and after which aren't the best but you get the ideas...

Gouges in the pistol grip...

Gouge in the forend checkering...

Chip in stock toe (he replaced the pad with a repro butt plate)...

Poorly repaired cracks in the stock...

Mark was very accommodation, great communication, and price was very reasonable. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to use him again!

Very nice, it took almost a year for me to get my 16ga Sterlingworth back from the guy that worked on mine.

The work was excellent, but it was a very long wait.... :-)
When I was crossing the border into Canada, they asked if I had any firearms with me. I said, "Well, what do you need?"
