C'mon guys, "The Donald" has officially landed, now it's time to get down to business!! What's the latest from Sin City???? Anything smokin' hot, other than that Parker 20b A-1 Special that I'd bet is making a guest appearance in the Julia's booth?? Enquiring minds want to know!!

My bad....maybe this one should be posted in the "UPGRADES/RESTORATION" Forum????
A K-grade single trap that is pretty nice, couple of nice CE-Grade 12-gauges. Paul thinks cousin Billy should be buying a 26-inch, AE-Grade with SST in the 2010xx range.
I added a few Sterlingworth serial numbers to my tables of observed guns, but nothing to write home about.
Feature gun at the PGCA annual meeting and banquet was Clark Gable's straight grip, DHE-Grade, vent rib, 28-gauge.
Been there; seen Clark's smokin' 28 VR with you at the Vintagers when The Hound Dog Man from New London brought it by just to put the sap on my head - and did it ever!! Never came closer until we displayed a minty late Remington version of a similar gun with all the bells & whistles at the MACA Show at Timonium a few years later.
BTW - who did the guest speaker turn out to be that was supposed to titillate all the ladies??
It was Paul Dorsa with the Clark Gable, DHE-Grade, vent rib, 28-gauge.
The depressing thing was that during his presentation, he stated that the Kerr's records were offered to Michael Weatherby and he turned them down so the family dumped them!!
The Clark Gable gun we had at the PGCA booth in Sandanona was the 32-inch, 20-gauge, BHE-Grade, 20-gauge. These pictures are poor, but a Dove on one side and a California Valley Quail
The trigger-plate was engraved with a likeness of a big shaggy English Sheep Dog that he and Carol had.
The same guy also had a screaming minty GHE-Grade 28-gauge, but it wasn't a Clark Gable gun.
It was great to see everybody there and to put faces with online names. I saw a few nice Foxes and Parkers. More in the line of Parkers. A 20 gauge Parker VH is following me home. The credit card police even called to see if that was really me. An 8 bore Parker followed another one of our members home. Other highlights included a Columbian Exposition Parker, Clark Gable's DHE Parker, a C Grade Hammergun Parker with fluid steel barrels (original!!!). The A1 special that Julia's had was something to behold as well. The best part, still, was seeing everyone and talking guns with like minded folks

I agree completely with Mills. It was great meeting him and many other like minded side by side fans.
By the way, that hammer gun with steel barrels is a 20 gauge with Titanic Steel barrels made in 1905. What a gun!
A Parker collector from AZ had it with him and at the PGCA banquet where it was voted 1st in the Peoples Choice award. And I don't think it was for sale in you were hoping.
