I had a dream I was duck hunting with a new well used CE Grade. Maybe dreams will come true in 2017

Owning a Fox is not a spectator sport.

If you're a duck hunter, and a Fox enthusiast, a Super Fox is the holy grail. I arrived in Caldwell, AR about 2 hours ago with my grandson, had supper, got unpacked and will soon get a good nights sleep before pulling out the 32" , 3" chambered HE and heading to a blind in the L'Anguille River bottoms. Water level is good, tomorrow is supposed to be clear and windy, all good for hunting flooded timber. The HE will be charged with 1 1/4 oz. hand loads of #4 bismuth. I wait all year for this, and though I have other Fox duck guns, the HE is just very, very special to me. Pics will be posted in a separate thread after getting home.

May every one who wants to own a big Super get that chance someday.

Good luck with the long, tall ones Stan. I'm sure Mike Smith would love some pics and a few paragraphs for our newsletter!

Stan, no, I only duck hunt occasionally when the opportunity arises locally. Not a fan of water deeper than my waist. I'd only primarily shoot clays or hunt upland birds/turkeys with the Foxes.

Just a teaser until I get back and can post pics, but the old Super got a limit of greenheads and a teal. Five of us killed 19 mallards, 2 gadwalls and 2 teal. Hope tomorrow is as good, or better!
