Effective this week I have retired as historian for Savage, Stevens and A.H. Fox firearms. It has been a pleasure to serve you these many years. Your group is very knowledgeable and professional in your quest for Fox information. It has also been a pleasure to meet and get to know several of you personally over the years.

Going forward, you can continue to get factory letters on your Fox firearms. The records are being returned to Savage Arms. The present CEO is very interested in offering this and he is more interested in the company's history with correct information than prior officers. Please forward your requests to: Savage Arms, Historical Information, 100 Springdale Rd., Westfield, MA. 01085

Signing off and thank you all. John T. Callahan

John, my best wishes on your retirement. It's been a pleasure working with you on so many projects. My offer is still open to do a tour of the "Viaduct". :D

Thank you, John, for so many years of helping "us". Your services have been invaluable. Best wishes on your retirement, and may your life be full. Also, thanks for the info as to how to continue receiving "look-ups".
All your research letters will now be more special.

John,

Happy to hear you're going to retire but a little sad you won't be there to help us out. As you took over for Roe Clark, I suspect your replacement will be there for us too.

It's been a real pleasure for me to have communicated with you for many years. I hope someday you might make it to one of the double gun shoots so that I can meet you in person and shake your hand. I'm sure all of us would like that.

Enjoy your retirement. Hope it will be healthy, prosperous and enjoyable. You have earned it and all of us here Thank You very much.

It's been a pleasure John.
