FLASH from HAUSMANN's HIDDEN HOLLOW
The Shooting Times and ESPN Sportscenter both report that Team Fox scored a convincing victory late yesterday afternoon over Bowling Green rival, Team Lefever by a score of 94 to 79. Stay tuned as more up to the minute reports filter in from the Endless Mountains.
On the whole....I'd rather be in Philadelphia....

Re: FLASH from HAUSMANN's HIDDEN HOLLOW
Sorry I couldn't stay to see the action. I had friends shooting on both teams, but needed to take off, wanting to get home before dark( 6.5 hrs) and looked like it was going to be raining the whole way home. Had a great time shooting, seeing old friends, and meeting new ones.
Congrats to both teams

Re: FLASH from HAUSMANN's HIDDEN HOLLOW
A fantastic time as usual with many old and new friends and soooooo much Fox lore. Just one highlight for me was shooting an HE Super 20/32 incher brought in by a standout member friend who graciously let several of us shoot her at the BW long range targets. I broke 4/4 using RST 2-1/2" shells, I don't know the shot charge or size. And I watched Mountain Mike break 10/10 with her. Overall, three days of shooting was great but the hanging out and camaraderie were the best. I had one potential deal on a hot Fox with a friend but we're a bit apart on the price. The vixen stayed in his trunk but maybe she'll come home with me from the upcoming Northern Side by Side at Rock Mtn (PA) in September.......

I also had the pleasure of shooting that beautiful 20 ga. HE. Regrettably, I lack the shooting skills of both Silvers and Mike of the Mountain so I'll just politely neglect to mention my score. However, that was very generous of the owner to let us give it a try and he deserves a huge "Thanks". That's what the Fox event is all about.
Shoot vintage firearms, relax, and have fun.

I think Jeff hit more with the Super-Fox 20-gauge then I did!! Still, it is now something marked off the "bucket list."
