CSMC stands behind their stuff!

Post by SXS ohio »

I bought a 2nd hand DE-Special in 28ga that was made in 1997. After owning and shooting the little gun 5lbs-2oz I noticed the for-end had just the slightest movement when fully snaped in place...It bugged me just a little. Also when shooting some Fiocchi VIP loads the left barrel sometimes would not fire the shell about one out of three, it showed a light primer hit. It fired all other ammo fine. So at Hausemanns I mentioned these issues to Camil from CSMC, he was manning the tables. He looked at the for-end and asked if I wanted to send it back with him to the Factory and he would have it fixed. It was very minor but felt this would be the best time to get it fixed, No ship fee's to pay or worry about damage or loss in shipment. I did mention the gun did not fire some fiocchi loads but fired all others. He took the gun with him on Saterday after the shoot. On Tuesday he called me and said it was being repaired and will be on the way back soon...I asked if the gun smith checked the hammer springs and reminded him of the issue with the fiocchi ammo. He forgot about it but said that he would go back right then and ask that it be looked at too. Two days passed and He called to tell me it was repaired and will be shipped soon. I asked about the fire pin spring issue??? He said the gun smith found that the left fire pin was a tad shorter than the right and it was replaced....(-: The gun came back today all boxed up nice and the for-end is fixed. I will take it out in the morning and shoot some clays, fire some fiochi VIP loads in it. I would bet it will shoot them just fine! The gun was repaired quickly, no long weight, shipped back...All at NO charge!!! This gun is 18 years old and I am not the original owner! Now that service! Did I mention that I really like that little Fox and shoot it well !!!....SXS ohio

I have had nothing but fantastic service from them! I applaud Mr. Galazan and the entire crew at CSMC. They are inventive and one of the only people on this side of the Atlantic who are manufacturing and developing new offerings. I have supported them in the past because I believe that they make a great product and have value for the money. As evidenced by the previous post, they stand by their product time and time again.
