Wow....what a beautiful Gen-1, A-grade! Congrats. They are wonderful guns. Double triggers and extractors will make your gunsmith feel like the Maytag repair man! What are your plans for her? Hunting, clays? Both?
Sounds like the making of a great tale for our news letter. :P :P :P Was that a hint? You bettcha!! Enjoy.
On the whole....I'd rather be in Philadelphia....

Man, I love the wide ribs on the early guns. Very nice gun.

Will be going to south dakota on the 15 for a week of pheasants. Im pretty excited. Wished I had a little more time to fit to myself. Has 3" pitch an curved butt plate an too short. But im taking anyway.

Where will you be hunting in S.D. for that week? I too will be out there with Craig L.. We will be in the Hitchcock area. Good luck and have a safe trip.

Will be hunting out of Mitchell with the Moehn family. They have a nice farm and sale registered Angus bulls. Lots of crop land. Will be meeting several hunting buddies for a yearly get together.

My shooting buddy is really wanting to shoot a prairie chicken so we may go farther out west for a couple of days or drop down into Neb. Any suggestions?
