Is this the C grade that had a compass in the comb of the stock?? When I picked up my B grade he was plugging that hole and that looked to be well on its way to be a beautiful gun. Scroll down this page from my B grade restoration pics, to me anyway, it is very very obvious that these 2 guns were restored by the same hand.

Jolly Bill, this Bill is not the same guy who worked for Bob Lefever, my father did some work up there and I asked, different guy. Though from what I have read on the interwebs, this Bill is a well known name for restorations on Lefever's. I currently have a 20ga H grade up there for some work that's supposed to be about done, so I will know soon enough firsthand what his Lefever restorations look like.

*Disregard, I read back through the posts and saw that this is the one with the compass in the wood. I'd really like to see a pic of that repair, I saw it in progress, but I'd like to see the finished product. Beautiful gun regardless!!

Kinda didn't think it was but had to ask.

That really is a nice job, Mike. Did Bill checker the cheek panels, or just freshen them up?

Thanks, SRH
