Great DGJ Fox Article!
Kudos to our very own "SILVERS" (Frank Srebro) for yet another engaging, Double Gun Journal article on Fox guns. In it, he explores in detail a most interesting deviation of sorts, one of the untold mysteries we encounter in our pursuit of The Finest Gun in the World. A dynamite read with plenty of quality pics of an alluring mix of Fox "iron." Don't miss it. Thanks for carrying the AHFCA flag in this edition Frank!!
On the whole....I'd rather be in Philadelphia....

I can't wait to get mine. I'm usually in the first wave of deliveries so maybe it will come early this week.
Looking forward to it. I love mysteries!

Mine just arrived Friday. Tool Man and Silvers did their usual stellar articles. Between Tool, Silvers, Researcher and Admin, the Fox community has some very knowledgeable and articulate ambassadors. Stan, keep your eyes peeled, those stoat are slippery, sneaky sonsaguns!!

Just arrived here on the Washington/Idaho border today. Haven't read it yet, but one thing caught my eye was the reproduced A.H. Fox Gun Co. ad at the top of page 129 clearly show a 1908 vintage D-/DE-Grade gun, not a "early-period C-Grade gun" as the caption states.

Re: Great DGJ Fox Article!
This must be Beat On Frank day. Advert is dated 1908 and my caption clearly states it features its early-period C-Grade. Those who take the time to look past the illustration will read the sentences urging readers to ask their dealer to show a $100. list price C-Grade Fox to them. "It's a general favorite for all-around shooting". The advert was copied just as Fox did it; and the caption does not state the illustration is a C-Grade Fox .....Researcher wrote:Just arrived here on the Washington/Idaho border today. Perhaps "discusses" or "mentions" would have been better words than "features".
I have read the article now and it is typical great Frank work.
