Mike Messina
Mike Messina
Sad to report that one of the very best guncase makers and restorers in the business, Mike Messina of East Meadow Long Island, passed away March 24 after battling liver cancer. Mike was a tremendous help to me when I began restoring and repairing cases over 25 years ago, and his help and encouragement kept me at it. I will sorely miss him.

Re: Mike Messina
Kevin,
I think I met/shot sporting clays with Mike up in Dutchess County, way back when I was a member of the Connecticut Travelers? That name sure does ring a few, distant bells. Regardless, very sorry to hear of his passing. Obviously a talented, artisan.

On the whole....I'd rather be in Philadelphia....

Re: Mike Messina
sorry to hear that. I spoke to mike on the phone a few times and he was always a gentleman, always willing to explain things or just talk about cases, guns, labels etc.
