Date of Manufacture

I own a Fox Model BSE-D, side by side, 20-gauge shotgun with 3-inch chambers. The serial number is A193616. I am trying to determine the date this gun was manufactured. The gun has a 24-inch barrel and the action is marked with a “Z” and “N” and the letters B and J each inside a circle. I have owned the gun since the early 1980’s.

The 24-inch barrel guns were catalogued from 1973 thru 1979. The Savage Arms Corp. built Fox Model B is not the gun this web site is about.
