Position of midbead on 26" Sterlingworth brush barrels

Post by WPGRIFFON »

Gentlemen

What would be the appropriate rib location (measurement) from breech for a mid bead on a 26" Sterlingworth 16 gauge brush barrels?

Judging from the location on my 30" Sterlingworth with factory beads, I'd say 14" behind the front bead on 26" barrels.

My 16ga 28" measures the mid bead 13.5" behind the front bead. My 26" 16ga only has a front bead, sorry.

12 3/4" between the front and back bead on a 26" Sterlingworth Deluxe 20 Gauge with ejectors if that helps. Both beads Ivory.

I have two 26-inch barrel Fox skeet guns and the mid-bead is 12 1/2 inches back of the front bead on both.
