12 gauge CE

Post by 1SG Mosteller »

I was at the Nations gun show Saturday trying to enjoy the weekend before my next chemo treatment on Monday. There were only three Fox guns there, a really beat up 12 gauge Sterly, an early A grade and a CE 12 gauge. I traded a gun that I bought in Japan for the CE 12, I did not take my reading glasses so i did not look over the gun, after talking with the guy you could see the barrels were cold blued and not rust blued but the gun to me has a factory beaver tail and new case colors, we traded and I knew the barrels would have to be redone until I got home, the barrels are 26" Chicopee addressed, this Fox must have been sent back to Fox for the restoration, my question is, do they keep repair records from Chicopee? I need to get a letter, it is serial number #14774.

All you can get from John is the info on the original production card. No later repair or modification info is available.
