Wood Duck

Post by Mills »

Finally got to take it hunting this morning. Lots of birds, mostly pretty high. This one got too close.

My favorite Sterly's are the 20 and 16 for sure. They just feel right as rain. Enjoy it for sure.

Very nice. Thanks for posting your pictures we always love to see gun and game pictures. So great to think these old guns are still preforming as intended.

Hey Mills!

That is at least the second AH Fox in your home. Great job using the 20 gauge for ducks!

Thanks guys.

This Sterly has M/F chokes and it is mean on long distance shots. Just not as long as the ducks were flying up in the sky this particular morning

The wood needs some attention, so will probably be sending her to Brian Dudley once the hunting season is over.

Bring it to one of the SXS shoots this year, and I will bring mine. It is a Utica/Savage but a nice little gun. I have not carried it this year--just not enough time to shoot them all--greatt problem to have.
The one I sold to my best friend for his boy was a really nice little SW 20.

Nice gun!! How do you like those low recoil noblesports? I bought 4 cases last fall but I have not shot them much yet.

They did just fine. My wife's shooting instructor put us on to those. He swears by them and he would know

My wife shot some grouse hunting this year. I will have to try some out and see how they feel.
