experts on Kautsky triggers

Post by jim garrett »

I purchased a 16 gauge Fox with a Kautsky trigger and the right barrel refuses to fire. It has been restocked and I have not taken it apart to see if there is binding by the stock on the trigger or the hammer. I need to find consensus on the best 'smith on Kautsky triggers if I can't find the problem on my own.

I had the same problem on my 16 gauge AE after a stock repair. Before you send it off to a gunsmith check the rear tang screw it may need to be tightened. Kautsky triggers can be temperamental but once they are adjusted properly they are pretty reliable.

I'm sure their may be others, but Larry has even built new Fox-Kautzky triggers --
