a memory failing question on early X grades
Were early X grades small bores ever made with snap on forearms like the early A, B, C and D grades? Also, were they always ejector guns or were some of the early guns extractor? PS. I think I recall seeing this before somewhere, but honestly, the years are messing with my mind. Thanks, Guys (and gals).

Re: a memory failing question on early X grades
Tom,i owned an early XE 20 gauge, one of the first made and it had snap on forend.I know of an early C grade 16 gauge without ejectors.I believe most had ejectors.I have an early XE snap on smallbore forend only complete in excellent original condition.Wish I had the rest of the gun! Bobby

Sent you a PM Bobby, but thought of another question. Is your XE snap on forend for a 20 or a 16 gauge??bbman3 wrote:Tom,i owned an early XE 20 gauge, one of the first made and it had snap on forend.I know of an early C grade 16 gauge without ejectors.I believe most had ejectors.I have an early XE snap on smallbore forend only complete in excellent original condition.Wish I had the rest of the gun!
