1912 Sterlingworth

Post by lawdog »

I have a 12 ga. Sterlingworth pin gun that I would like to have evaluated.
Is there anyone in the Houston area that I can consult?
I believe the gun was built in 1912 and must have ben refinished, reblued and re case hardened.
I realize collector value must have been destroyed, but the above work was well done.
Best regards

You "might" try the big gunshop "Collectors Firearms" in the Houston area .

As to their exact location I am not sure as I've never been to Houston . However I have done buisnes with these people a few times and they were always above board with me .

Their website !

Parker’s , Mannlicher Schoenauer’s , 6.5mm’s and my family in the Philippines :!:

I'd post some real close up pictures of the gun (many pictures), of it together and taken apart with picture of the barrel flats, barrel ends, etc etc. We can assist with the some photo's. The closest place that "May" be about to help is Nagels in San Antonio. Least they used to have some real knowledgeable folks there. Back of the store is where they keep the higher grade guns (or at least they used to). Haven't been there in about 5 years.
